Pointless Presidential Pfacts #32 - "Give it a Name"

Franklin Roosevelt was the first to call his annual message to Congress a "State of the Union" address in 1934. It wasn't until 1947 when Harry Truman was president and the first to be broadcast on television did the address' name enter common usage.
